We are a friendly small club, and always welcome new players of all ages and abilities. The first 3 weeks are free so why not come and give it a try in a friendly relaxed atmosphere, we’re here to help and encourage novices. We meet every Wednesday night for “Roll Up” from 7-10pm in Chiddingly Village Hall, we play on two mats and stop for a cup of tea and slice of cake half way through so that we can catch up on all the news and gossip!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We play in Division 1 of the Wealden League during the winter months(October -March), We also arrange friendly matches with other local clubs throughout the year, and this give novices a chance to experience matches. During the summer when some of our members play Outdoor Lawn Bowls at other clubs, we still meet but usually from 7-9pm on Wednesday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We also play 4 in house competitions during the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If you are a golfer and finding 18 holes tougher to complete, why not give bowls a try? Many of the skills used in golf are also useful in bowls!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
