We are a friendly small club, and always welcome new players of all ages and abilities. The first 3 weeks are free so why not come and give it a try in a friendly relaxed atmosphere, we’re here to help and encourage novices. We meet every Wednesday night for “Roll Up” from 7-10pm in Chiddingly Village Hall, we play on two mats and stop for a cup of tea and slice of cake half way through so that we can catch up on all the news and gossip!
We also arrange friendly matches with other local clubs throughout the year, and this give novices a chance to experience matches. During the summer when some of our members play Outdoor Lawn Bowls at other clubs, we still meet but usually from 7-9pm on Wednesday.
We also play 4 in house competitions during the year.
If you are a golfer and finding 18 holes tougher to complete, why not give bowls a try? Many of the skills used in golf are also useful in bowls!
